Challenge
Mrs. Volná sought a modern, user-friendly website that would help everyday people easily find legal solutions to their problems. The client wanted a professional online presence that would simplify legal topics, making them more accessible to potential clients. Additionally, the site needed to reflect the firm’s credibility, offer intuitive navigation, and include important features like contact forms, legal resources, and GDPR compliance to protect user data.
THE STORY
Our partnership with AKVOLNA began through a mutual friend who introduced me to Mrs. Volná, the head of the law firm. The friend recommended me for the project, knowing I had experience in building professional websites. After an initial meeting, Mrs. Volná shared her vision of creating a modern, user-friendly law firm website that could provide valuable resources to clients while being approachable for everyday people seeking legal help.
From that moment, we clicked. We had a shared understanding of the importance of making legal services accessible online, and I was excited to take on the challenge of bringing her vision to life.
Process breakdown

Initial consultation and research
We began by discussing Mrs. Volná’s vision for the website and her goals for reaching potential clients. During our meetings, we identified key elements like easy navigation, approachable language, and legal resource accessibility. I also conducted research on competitor law firm websites to ensure we delivered a user experience that was both modern and functional.

Wireframing and design
Using Figma, I created wireframes and mockups of the website to visually plan the layout and structure. The goal was to develop a clean, professional design that would instill trust while being easy for users to navigate. The homepage featured a prominent service overview, and key areas like the contact form were strategically placed to encourage inquiries.

Development
After finalizing the design, I built the entire website on WordPress, ensuring that content management would be simple for the client. This included setting up pages for different legal services, integrating a blog for legal articles, and optimizing the site structure for SEO. I also customized the site’s layout using CSS to match the law firm’s branding.

Custom styling
To enhance the look and feel of the website, I applied custom CSS to fine-tune the details ensuring consistency in fonts, colors, and form elements. This helped create a visually cohesive and professional aesthetic across the entire site. Titles, buttons, and even the images were stylized to reflect the firm’s sophisticated yet approachable brand.

GDPR Compliance & legal Integration
Given the nature of a law firm’s business, GDPR compliance was essential. I implemented a GDPR solution that included a cookie consent banner and an easy-to-understand privacy policy page. This not only made the website legally compliant but also reassured users that their data was protected.

Testing and final Launch
Once the development and styling were complete, I conducted thorough testing to ensure the website functioned smoothly across devices and browsers. This included checking the responsiveness, form submissions, and page load speeds. After making some final adjustments based on feedback, we successfully launched akvolna.cz, delivering a user-friendly, professional platform.
